Reunion eSIM — frequently asked questions
Everything travelers ask before buying a Reunion data plan.
How do I activate my Reunion eSIM?
After purchase you'll receive a QR code by email. Scan it from your phone's cellular settings to install the Reunion eSIM. Install over a reliable internet connection, then follow the activation instructions supplied with your plan.
Does my phone support eSIM in Reunion?
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Support varies by exact model and the country where the phone was sold, so check your model and regional variant in our compatibility checker before buying.
Can I keep my regular phone number?
Yes. The Wanderly Reunion eSIM runs as a secondary line alongside your primary SIM, so you keep calls and texts on your home number while using mobile data from the eSIM. Your home carrier may still charge for calls and texts abroad; disable data roaming and automatic data switching on the home line.
Do Reunion eSIM plans include calls and texts?
Some do. The "Calls & texts" tab above lists Reunion plans that include a phone number, calling and usually SMS alongside the data; the rest of our plans are data-only. The number is assigned after purchase and may be issued in a different country than Reunion, so we cannot promise a local number.
How much does a Reunion eSIM cost?
Reunion eSIM plans start from $2.99 on Wanderly, depending on the selected data allowance and duration. Check the available plans above for the current total price and coverage.
When does my Reunion eSIM start?
Most plans begin when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Reunion or the covered region. Activation rules can vary, so check the instructions for your selected plan before installing or turning it on.
