Georgia eSIM — frequently asked questions
Everything travelers ask before buying a Georgia data plan.
How do I activate my Georgia eSIM?
After purchase you'll receive a QR code by email. Scan it from your phone's cellular settings to install the Georgia eSIM. Install over a reliable internet connection, then follow the activation instructions supplied with your plan.
Does my phone support eSIM in Georgia?
Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Support varies by exact model and the country where the phone was sold, so check your model and regional variant in our compatibility checker before buying.
Can I keep my regular phone number?
Yes. The Wanderly Georgia eSIM runs as a secondary line alongside your primary SIM, so you keep calls and texts on your home number while using mobile data from the eSIM. Your home carrier may still charge for calls and texts abroad; disable data roaming and automatic data switching on the home line.
Do Georgia eSIM plans include calls and texts?
Not for Georgia yet — the plans here are data-only, so keep your home SIM active for calls and texts, or use WhatsApp, FaceTime and other apps over the eSIM's data. We do sell plans that include a phone number for many other destinations.
How much does a Georgia eSIM cost?
Georgia eSIM plans start from $2.99 on Wanderly, depending on the selected data allowance and duration. Check the available plans above for the current total price and coverage.
When does my Georgia eSIM start?
Most plans begin when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in Georgia or the covered region. Activation rules can vary, so check the instructions for your selected plan before installing or turning it on.
