If you bought a Wanderly eSIM and your statement shows a charge from Zotlo rather than Wanderly, that is expected. Zotlo is our merchant of record: they process the payment and are the legal seller on the receipt, which is the name your bank receives.
Paid eSIM plans are one-time purchases and do not renew. Check the transaction before assuming what a charge relates to.
Why the name is different
A merchant of record handles payment processing, tax and compliance on the seller side. Wanderly delivers the eSIM; Zotlo takes the payment. Because Zotlo is the entity that transacts with your bank, the descriptor on your statement carries their name and not ours.
This is a common arrangement for digital goods sold internationally, and it is the reason a charge you expected to say Wanderly says something you do not recognise.
Paid plans do not renew, and the free-eSIM card check never charges
Paid eSIM data plans are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.
The card check for the free eSIM runs on Stripe, not Zotlo, and never charges you or starts a subscription. Card checks made before October 13, 2026 used a Zotlo trial that Wanderly cancelled; if you see a Zotlo charge you think relates to one, contact support@getwanderly.com with the date, amount and receipt reference. Never send a full card number or security code.
If you want a refund
Refunds are handled by Zotlo because they hold the transaction. You can request one within 14 days of purchase if the plan has not been delivered or accessed.
- Open account.zotlo.com and sign in with the email address you used at checkout.
- Find the Wanderly order and submit a refund request, or email support@zotlo.com with your order reference.
- Contact Wanderly support in parallel if the problem is with the eSIM itself — we can often fix an activation issue faster than a refund clears.
If you do not recognise the charge at all
Zotlo is the merchant of record for many companies, not only Wanderly, so a Zotlo line on your statement does not necessarily relate to us. Check the full descriptor and your email for a Wanderly order confirmation first.
If there is no Wanderly order and you did not buy anything else that might use Zotlo, treat it as you would any unrecognised charge and contact your bank. Raising it with us will not help if the underlying order was never ours.
Frequently asked questions
Is Zotlo the same company as Wanderly?
No. Zotlo is our merchant of record, the payment processor and legal seller on the receipt. Wanderly provides the eSIM.
How do I cancel my Wanderly subscription?
There is nothing to cancel: paid eSIM plans are one-time purchases, and the free-eSIM card check does not start a subscription. Contact support@getwanderly.com if you see a charge you do not recognise.
Why does my statement say Zotlo instead of Wanderly?
Because Zotlo transacts with your bank on our behalf as merchant of record, their name is the descriptor your bank receives.
Who do I contact for a refund?
Zotlo, at account.zotlo.com or support@zotlo.com, since they hold the transaction. Contact Wanderly support as well if the eSIM itself is not working.
Was I charged twice?
Check each receipt in account.zotlo.com. Paid data plans do not renew. Contact support@getwanderly.com about an unexpected charge; do not assume two charges mean two orders.
